COGIT Laboratory Leader
Research Action
Geovis : visualization, interaction, immersion

Research topic :

  • Cartographic generalisation, and particularly, the automatic orchestration of generalisation processes for the derivation of complete maps.
  • Network generalisation (road, river network...).
  • Automation of cartographic processes : map and database generalisation, label placement, map legibility assessment, conflation, spatial analysis.
  • Modelling spatial relation in automated mapping environments.
  • Analysis of OpenStreetMap and VGI data.
